Aleph node setup steps:
Step | Image |
---|---|
Before attempting to deploy and setup your Aleph Core Channel Node, please confirm that you have 200,000 Aleph prepared in a dedicated wallet, to be used when registering your node. The Aleph must be ERC-20; You cannot stake ALEPH from the NULS or NEO network. They will need to be swapped to ERC-20 before you proceed. The wallet with the 200,000 Aleph must be connected to decentralized applications, such as MetaMask, Wallet Connect, Portis or MEW.

Step 1: Create an Aleph Node from Node Forge
| |
Step 2: Take Note of Your Multi-Address
| |
Step 3: Register Your Node Wallet on https://account.aleph.im/#/
There may be instances where even with 200,000 Aleph in the connected wallet, the “+Create Node” button in the top right may not be available and grayed out. If this is the case, adding 1 to 5 more Aleph to the wallet will alleviate this issue and make the “+Create Node” button selectable. |
|
Step 4: Pair you Node Forge Aleph Node to your Registered Aleph Node using your Multi-Address
| |
Step 5: Validate Your Setup
| |
PLEASE NOTE In order to operate an Aleph Core Channel node and earn rewards, you must have:
The 200,000 ALEPH will allow you to register a Core Channel node on account.aleph.im. The additional 500,000 ALEPH needs to be staked against your node, and can either be your own ALEPH (in a separate wallet) or community stakers joining your node. |
