Aleph node setup steps:

Before attempting to deploy and setup your Aleph Core Channel Node, please confirm that you have 200,000 Aleph prepared in a dedicated wallet, to be used when registering your node. The Aleph must be ERC-20; You cannot stake ALEPH from the NULS or NEO network. They will need to be swapped to ERC-20 before you proceed.

The wallet with the 200,000 Aleph must be connected to decentralized applications, such as MetaMask, Wallet Connect, Portis or MEW.

Step 1: Create an Aleph Node from Node Forge

  1. Purchase a node from our website.  Once the Node is created, you should receive an email notification similar to the one to the right.

  2. Click "Activate Node", which will take you to the Node Forge website where you can complete the setup of your node.

Step 2: Take Note of Your Multi-Address

  1. Once you’ve logged into your dashboard, click “My Nodes” and expand your Aleph node details. You’ll see a link indicating you need to complete setup. Click that link, and you will see a “Remote Setup” page similar to the one to the right.

  2. This string in the gray field is your “Multi-Address”. You can click the “Copy” button to copy this to your clipboard. Keep this page open, as you will use this multi-address in Step 4.

Step 3: Register Your Node Wallet on

  1. Browse to the Aleph staking dApp at and click on “Connect to a wallet” in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Select the wallet that contains your 200k Aleph tokens, which you will use to register your node.

  3. Click “Create Node” to begin the registration process.

  4. A pop-up will appear. Enter in a friendly name of your choice and click “Continue.”

There may be instances where even with 200,000 Aleph in the connected wallet, the “+Create Node” button in the top right may not be available and grayed out. If this is the case, adding 1 to 5 more Aleph to the wallet will alleviate this issue and make the “+Create Node” button selectable.

Step 4: Pair you Node Forge Aleph Node to your Registered Aleph Node using your Multi-Address

  1. On the Node Forge site, click the “Copy” button to copy the “Multi-Address” to your clipboard.

  2. Paste the “Multi-Address” into the “Multiaddress” field on the Aleph dApp window, then click “Finish.”

Step 5: Validate Your Setup

  1. Return to your Node Forge “Remote Setup” Window and select “Validate Setup” to complete the pairing process.

  2. You will then see a green notice that your Registration is Complete similar to the one on the right.

  3. Click “Complete Setup” and your pairing is complete!

In order to operate an Aleph Core Channel node and earn rewards, you must have:

  • 200,000 ALEPH to register your node

  • At least 500,000 ALEPH staked in your node to start earning and get your node in “Active” Status

The 200,000 ALEPH will allow you to register a Core Channel node on The additional 500,000 ALEPH needs to be staked against your node, and can either be your own ALEPH (in a separate wallet) or community stakers joining your node.
